Monkey puppet did a nice little impromptu dance in the car today, and I bought a vegan/fruit sweetened cherry pie. Yum! I've almost finished my pumpkin costume, less than 24 hours until the Halloween party. It is a giant orange blob. Tonight I went to the store to get a black shirt to wear under it, and I tried on six different ones. One was ok. I bought it. I didn't really want a long sleeve black shirt. Will I ever wear it again? I also tried on a pair of green striped pants; maybe I should have been a clown for Halloween. I've seen girls wear striped pants and plaid pants and look really cute. Apparently I'm not one of those girls. I bought a brown sweater instead. I hate being trapped in the dressing room listening to a creepy recorded voice pushing some super makeup sale and Halloween stuff at 30% off over the PA system. There was also a little kid singing/screaming very loudly near the dressing rooms "trick or treeeeeeat, smell my feeeeeeet...trick or treeeeeeat smell my feeeeeeet..." It is a nice brown sweater.

I wore my mittens while driving to work this morning. At the bus stop on 82nd there was a woman wearing a sleeveless shirt. Where are her mittens?
